Sejong University, in collaboration with JOBCENTER and STUVISOR.COM, will be hosting the International Student Fair (ISF) job fair on June 7th and 8th at the Sejong University, Gwanggaeto Hall Convention Center. The event aims to foster the development and employment of foreign students in Korea, as well as contribute to the global growth of Korean companies. The fair will feature various activities including ISF job interviews, a conference for foreign students preparing for employment, and the ISF forum where the current employment status of foreign students and alternative solutions will be discussed.

The ISF job fair is open to all foreign students currently enrolled in universities in Korea, and participation can be requested for free through the JOBCENTER website. Foreign students, under the study (D-2) or the general training (D-4) visa, are eligible to participate if they possess a certain level of Korean language proficiency and have received confirmation from the university’s student affairs office. These foreign students are allowed to engage in limited part-time work with the approval of an activity permit in addition to their student visa. At the ISF job fair, companies will have the opportunity to recruit outstanding foreign students for various positions, including part-time, internship, and full-time roles.

Cho Jin-woo, the head of the Sejong University External Cooperation Office, stated that the demand for Korean education among foreign students, along with the growing diversity of interests, is expected to increase in the post-pandemic era, citing the popularity of K-pop and Korean content. He emphasized the importance of attracting and retaining high-quality foreign students, calling for the participation of Korean companies in the ISF job fair to provide employment opportunities for these exceptional international students in various capacities.
